Fight the War Within Foundation connects warriors of all walks of life to mental health resources. Although they focus on serving military service members, veterans, and first responders they do not limit their resources to those. They serve the community as a whole. In my community service initiative, Let the Art Speak, I challenge others to use art as a coping mechanism for all types of mental health. Together, I will be able to offer multiple Expressive Art Workshops to people who will benefit from the freedom of expressing themselves through Art.
Our first workshop is about our community coming together and creating something for others! Worry rocks are small inspirational tangible items that can be given to others in need. The goal is to hold onto it as long as you need and then pass it on to someone else in need. Everyone needs a little inspiration some days. Let’s inspire others and give back to our community together!!
